Polite in Public, Inc.
Last Updated: January 1, 2025

1. WHO WE ARE

Polite in Public ("Polite") provides experiential technology for events. This policy explains how we handle data for: * Website Visitors: Users of the Polite SaaS Platform and website. * Event Guests: Individuals who use our kiosks, photo booths, or sharing stations.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

* Media: Photos, Videos, and GIFs captured at events. * Contact Data: Mobile numbers or Email addresses provided by guests for content delivery. * Biometric Data (Transient): For AI experiences (e.g., Robotic Camera Systems, Face Filters), we may process facial geometry to apply visual effects. We do not store face prints. This data is deleted immediately after the effect is rendered.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

* Transactional Delivery: We use your email/phone number to send you your photo. This is a one-time transaction. We do not add you to marketing lists unless you explicitly opt-in. * Data Hashing: To protect privacy, guest contact info is hashed (anonymized) on our servers after the active event window closes. * PII Definition: "PII" (Personally Identifiable Information) refers to specific data that can identify you, such as your email or phone number. We distinguish this from "Media" (the photo itself).

4. DATA SHARING

* With the Event Host: If you attend a branded event (e.g., "The Football Party"), the Event Host (our Client) has access to the data collected at their event. The Client's use of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy. * No Sale of Data: We do not sell guest data to third-party ad networks.

5. DATA RETENTION

We practice Data Minimization. * Media Storage: Event photos are typically stored for 7 to 90 days (depending on the Event Host's contract) to allow for download, after which they are permanently deleted. * Deletion Request: To request removal of an image, please contact the Event Host directly or email privacy@politeinpublic.com with the specific event date and photo link.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location (CA, VA, EU), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@politeinpublic.com to exercise these rights.
